MACHINING SERVICES
CNC MACHINING
Our large vertical machining centre (1650x700x700mm) compliments our conventional machining capacity and allows 3D machining.
GRINDING
Cylindrical Grinding
We are able to cylindrical grind components up to 1.5 metres in length.
Surface Grinding
Tool and Cutter Grinding
We are able to carry out all regrinds and manufacture of special tooling.
BORING
Our horizontal borers have the capacity to be loaded up to 1000 kg.
TURNING
We pride ourselves on our large turning ability, with the capacity to swing 1.5 metres and turn up to 3 metres between centres, which includes full length copying.
MILLING
We have a variety of milling machines including horizontal, vertical and universal, giving us the capacity to mill up to 1.5 metres actual traverse length.
PROTOTYPE MACHINING
MEC produce prototype machining and small batch quantities up to medium sized production runs. Excellent consultation with the customer throughout production is our priority to ensure a high quality product is achieved.

Large radial arm capacity with No 5 Morse Taper.
