Our Services

As well as general machining of production parts we produce one offs, prototypes and repairs to damaged/worn parts from wide a range of sectors, plant types and materials.​  

 

We also offer a spark eroding service for tap/broken tool removal and Mag drilling. 

These services can be carried out in-house or on site.

 

Tool Sales

We have a range of surplus tooling available including non-standard taps and large drills/reamers. 

Also a large surplus of Capstan tooling, Coventry die boxes and chasers.

CNC Lathe

CNC turning using our Mazak Quick Turn series, high performance turning centre that make complex parts accurately and with reduced set up time.  Equipped with the new Smooth Mill Drive turret with BMT or VDI tooling interface and 5000 or 10000rpm capability.

Wire Eroding

Wire Erosion EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) is an extremely precise time saving and cost effective method of cutting, shaping and re-sizing hard or soft, electrically conductive materials

Capable of tapers up to 30 degrees

Accurate to 3 microns

CONVENTIONAL MACHINING

Turning

Various Lathes providing small and large turning capacity, capable of swinging up to 1.5 metres and 3 metres between centres, including full length copying.

Milling

We have a variety of milling machines including horizontal, vertical and universal, giving us the capacity to mill up to 1.5 metres actual traverse length.

Horizontal Boring

Capable of line boring, rotary milling, radial lay facing and up to 1 tonne loading

 

Drilling

Radial and pillar drill capacity to drill up to 75mm diameter.

 

Slotting

Capable of up to 20mm width

 

Grinding

Surface Grinding

Cylindrical Grinding - up to 1500 mm in length (5 feet) long

Tool and Cutter Grinding - We carry out all regrinds and manufacture of special tooling

Welding & Fabrication

WELDING & FABRICATION

MIG and ARC welding,

Soldering and Brazing, including cast iron.

 

Steel and stainless steel fabrications to customer specification.  Any size considered.
